Student Leadership

Our leadership opportunities nurture valuable skills and qualities, such as teamwork, confidence and responsibility, which are also of benefit in life outside of school.
Senior students can become School Leaders, House Captains, Sport and Music Captains. These roles see students take active roles in school assemblies and key events including the Year 12 Assembly and Formal.
Younger students can represent their class on the Middle and Senior School Student Forum or Primary School Student Representative Council. Alternatively, they can nominate to be a school sports captain or music leader.

Student Creativity
(Music)

Music is an important part of learning and life at Concordia. Our aim is to enhance student wellbeing by providing quality Music education in an inclusive, safe and stimulating artistic environment, delivered within purpose-built facilities. Beginning in our Primary School, your child will enjoy Music lessons as part of the curriculum. From Year 7, musically gifted students can apply, or may be invited to join, our Special Interest Music program, studying Musicianship, Ensemble Performance and Music Arrangement.

With an extensive instrumental and vocal tuition program delivered by 40 excellent teachers, students have access to private lessons in their chosen instruments during the school day.

We offer music scholarships for highly skilled and motivated instrumentalists.

Clubs & Activities

Whether trying something new or harnessing a particular passion, lunchtime clubs provide opportunities for personal development through activities such as backgammon, debating, robotics and handicrafts.

Our student-led clubs and activities are a great way for students to explore different activities, develop new skills and nurture friendships within and across their year levels.
